Scott's duties at Janssen Accounting is to review and manage several areas of the Firm including tax review and financial statement review. He has several niche specialties and especially enjoys working on Estates and Trusts. He also specialized in QuickBooks.
Scott was born and raised in Waupaca, Wisconsin and only left for a short time to further his education; earning a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He joined the firm in May of 2001 and became a Partner in 2012. He is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service having passed the rigorous test in 2007.
Scott was the 2012 recipient of the Waupaca Chamber of Commerce's 1st Annual RUBY Award (Recognizing the Upward, Bright and Young). The award is given to someone in our local area between the age of 18 and 40 who has demonstrated a high level of service to the community through their professional efforts and charitable minded activities. His involvement includes the charitable organizations of Waupaca Ducks Unlimited and the Waupaca High School Scholarship Committee.
Scott is married to his wife, Laura and they have two children. He enjoys fishing, boating, cycling, golf, tennis and geocaching during his personal time.
